When You Have A Mri For Back Pain
Does Anyone Know If When You Have A Mri For Back Pain Or Herniated Disc, are You Suppose To Have A Ct Scan? I Have Had Three
Mri's And Only Ct Scan? And Does A Mri Show Root Nerve Impingement?
Answers:
Yes, MRI will show nerve root impingement. CT scan is generally of less value than MRI in the diagnosis of back pain/ radiating pain.i have had 2 mri's for my herniated disc. It was by having them is how i learned i needed surgary. I've also have had a couple ct's.
