What kind of seizures am I having?

I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 15. Let me start form the beginning tho. My very first episode was when i was about 12. I had awoke in the middle of the night and was doing these sudden burts of muscle spasms. Mostly in my limbs. Causing me to thrash around at random moments. I was totally awake and somewhat aware. I could see and remember seeing certain moments of the episode. It lasted about 15 minutes or so. I did not have another episode until i was 16. and then as i got older more and more. As much as 5-10 a month. Or as many as 2-3 a week. I noticed that I would have them in the middle of the night or as i was waking up in the mornings. Always the same thing. I can move and walk and see, i know whats going on. But i thrash around while walking and fall all over the place. As time went on I had EEGs, MRIS, 24 hour EEGs, and the only test that came back abnormal was a normal 23 minute EEG. With "some" seizure activity. I have been on 1500 mgs of depakote at night and 500 mgs in the morning since I was diagnosed. However I was never ever told what TYPE of seizures I was having, or what caused them. So in a nutshell, I do not lose consiousness, they are usually in the night, or upon wakening. When I am sleepy or take short naps I also have them. I have had a handfull of grand mals in the course of 9 years. I am now 25. My limbs spasm and I walk around When usually /i know not to. But I feel the NEED to get up. At times I lose bladder control. But mostly I am awake and can see and remember seeing. After the seizures I am very sleepy and sleep most the day and then the night. Could you tell me any ideas of what type they may be?
