Unexplained head dents and pain

I have had some killer headaches recently and last night my husband felt a dent on my head. After feeling it I felt the rest of my head and I have two, one in the front left, which he felt, and one in the back right which I found.

Both are new, I have not had any head injurys, not even a bumping of the head recently. The back one is about a 50 cent piece size and the front is about a 1/4" wide and goes a inch back. When touched and prodded they send shooting pains through my head.

I called my doctors and they can not get me in until September 11th, should I be concerned? Is there any reason I would have unexplained dents appear in my head?

Interesting but I really don't know. The only thing that after reading are cranial sutures? Many people have different dents and such in the skull . The headache symptoms really you need to be seen. Sorry I can't be of more help.
