Tenderness, Burning and Pain

Hi Guys,

I am new here. I am a 22 year old female and mom. For the past four months I have been having pain in my upper abdomen. I've had a normal ultrasound, normal barrium swallow and normal HIDA scan. (The cck did cause me to feel some quick pain and nausea, but it subsided quickly) I have also had numerous normal blood workups at the ER.

The pain is directly under my ribs. When I press firmly under my right rib, It is tender and the pain radiates to my left back. I also have pain when pressing under my sternum - which radiates up and over on each side. It only hurts when I breathe in and press there most of the time. I also have coming and going pain in my ribs and have a new pain that has been sharp and burning all over for several minutes (pain even reaches on flanks and in chest) and then disappears with vague pain for a while after. I've also had pain in my back below my ribs.

I do get bouts of loose stools and then normal stools. I am a stay at home mom and the scariest part is being at home alone with the little ones and not knowing why I'm hurting so bad.

Does anyone know what this could be? I stay in contact with my doctor and am awaiting an endoscopy which could take up to three months. I just need a good idea to run with and ask the doctor about. I'm desperate.
