sudden onset of headaches sometimes with mild numbeness in side of face.

please advice....

i am a 24 yr old female who about four months ago started getting mild headaches.
they can occur at any time of the day and may last for several hours. they can also occur more than once in a day. the headache is mild and is always on the left side of my head either at the back or middle. sometimes it feels like a mild throbbing and can feel a little worse if i apply pressure to it. it is more of an irritation than a pain. someitmes if the pain is low on the back left hand side of the head i can get mild numbness or tingling in side of face across my jaw on same side as headache.

i went to the doc yesterday and she believes it could be me having long hair and how i wear it in a ponytail at the back centre of my head. the thing is i haven't chnaged the way i usually have my hair and the point where the headache is is not where the ponytail is.

i do NOT have vision probs or seizures and they are not worse in the morning.

should i seek a second opinion?

thanks.

Maybe it's a migraine? Migraines usually happen on one side of the head and in some cases there will be "tingling or numbness of the face or extremities on the side where the headache develops"
