Stricture, bowel obsrtruction,
Dear Doctor,
I have had a stricture at the juncture of the transverse and descending colon. I have had an obstruction in the past. Last year I was on Byetta and it caused me to block again and the raisins I ate became grape-like and finally passed breaking loose the pain and obstruction. I thought they were grapes until now. I am having similar trouble that started 3 days ago, after having diarrhea and then difficulty going. (yes I know of IBS) I have been on liquids only for a few days and went soft after that and then today I ate some other food and took my vitamins. I again felt horrible pain to the left upper Quad and then had an encapsulated grape-like piece, except I have had no raisins this time. I gloved up and inspected it and inside was a white powder-like substance. I am perplexed. What is going on possibly in my digestive tract.
