seizures for no reason?
I need some help please, About a year and a half ago was asleep in my bed with my girlfriend and i woke up 3 days later in the hospital. For some reason I had 3 grand maul seizures one in bed, one in the doorway at the E.R. and one more inside. I do not have epilepsy according to the doctors and i have no history of seizures at all. Since then i have had over 30 seizures and i cant take it anymore! someone please help me! I keep loosing my memory and i and loosing my mind! I was on dilanatin, tegratol, and im now on phenobarbitol and it has been doing no good. I dont know what else to do. Im ready to jump off a building into traffic.

I'm sorry your going through all this and wish I could be of some help. Often times if other conditions have been ruled out for the cause there is often no known cause. I guess the best thing is to find the right medication to subdue the seizures and you can better function. Work with your Dr. which I hope is a neurologist if not find one, and I hope a med can be found to better control the seizures.

I was told not to work,or drive..so i am unemployed and stuck at home and i have been denied for ss and disability 6 times. Im out of ideas ...maybe when i have a seizure and die they will realize i need some helpMe Too!!! I Know Exaclty Where You Are With This! I Think I Have Found Someone Who Knows What Is Causing It . We Will See...i Will Let You Know.. So Far After All Of The Doctors, I Am Being Told That It Is Comressed Discs In My C Spine Adn It Is Causing Loss Of Blood And Thus Oxygen To The Brain Causing The Seizures....maybe Worth Getting This Looked At...it Is My Only Hope So Far!
