Restless legs from caffeine withdrawal??

I'm 19, male. I have had panic attacks for 4 years, and they usually only come about in the late winter/early spring months, along with general anxiety. I guess exams and lack of sunlight cause it.

Anyway, this year I was having them like usual, so I decided to quit coffee. So of course, I've been sleepy, had lack of focus, etc.

But the weird thing is, without coffee,I still have the panic/anxiety, but the response feels dulled. My heart doesn't pound much, my breathing feels shallow instead of giant panicky breaths, and I'm relatively able to speak properly. But here comes the strange part... I've had this weird feeling where I can feel the nerves deep inside my body, and it sort of itches, so I have to move it. And it's settled in my legs, to the point where I can't sleep!! I feel this weird tingling deep inside my legs that makes me want to stand. It happens to other areas of my body too, but it settles in the legs.

Before this had all started, I went to my doctor about my anxiety, and I'm supposed to come back tommorow to get tested for a fast thyroid, etc. What do I do now?? How can I sleep meanwhile, and what tests should the doctor be doing now?

Thanks so much for any help or reassuring words!

When did you quit coffee, maybe it's a caffeine withdrawal ?Yeah this might me temporary. Stay off caffeine for a while and see if your condition improves. If it doesn't, I would look into seeing a doctor or natural health practitioner. But be weary of taking a prescription drug for this, because your doctor will likely diagnose you with the "disease" of restless leg syndrome when it's not really a disease. Those drugs can do more harm than good, so try to solve this problem naturally if you could.
