Posterior pituitary tissue absent on MRI

My 6 year old son who has Autism has been complaining of headaches, not being able to see, 'zones out' for up to 4 days at a time and is overly tired, his is high functioning but has always experienced a high level of anxiety. The MRI we had shows no ectopic posterior pituitary tissue at all and there is a small developmental venous anomaly in the parafaeine right frontal lobe.

Diabetes insipidus has been mentioned but he does not drink excessively (in fact hates water) and urinary output seems fine (urine in fact is quite dark), he is attrated to salty foods, bruises easily but is generally in good health, height and weight both in normal range and no other abnormalities that we know of. Our other two sons 2 & 5 are also autistic but are not showing these symptoms and therefore have not had an MRI done.

We do not seem to be able to find anyone who has seen this before and we do not know where to get assistance from as to how to help him reduce his headaches and what effects this condition may have on him in the future. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Dee
