Post meningitis problems

Hello Doctor,

I had meningitis at 9 years of age. Now I am 23. Are there any chances of any disorder I may get in future like memory problems. Still now I do not have any illness. But I get headache usually. Is this the symptom of any disorder with brain. Please advice.

Hi Tintu,
Can you tell us a little bit about how the headaches feel? It is possible that the headaches could be a complication of the meningitis, but its also possible that the headache could be a more typical headache like a migraine or a tension headache. Thanks for the reply. It is not actually headache, but a sort of uneasiness in which condition I need to be in rest for sometime. And when I am in a crowd I feel a sort of going to an unconsious state. Recently an EEG test was done but results are yet to come. If any problems are there will the EEG test reveal it?
