Pituitary Microadenoma
Hi, I am an 18 year old female, who was just diagnosed with a pituitary microadenoma on Oct. 1st. I was sent to see an endocrinologist, but was very disappointed with the information given. I have been having symptoms such as severe headaches, elevated prolactin levals, dizziness, and other such symptoms told to me by a local doctor to be caused by this adenoma. The endocrinologist said other wise, but I was only in her office for 5 min before she sent me on my way. I have been having these headaches for the past 4 years with no one who is able to help me or even to want to. These headaches are often an 8 or 9 on a scale of 10 pain wise and I feel like I might as well give up. I was wondering if you doctors would have any suggestions for me, as far as what I should do with this adenoma and other such symptoms. Hope to hear from you soon and thank you for your time,
