pain my toe

I am having reoccuring pain in my toe on my right foot. I kicked open a door with my foot (no shoes on). The toe was not broken but it turned a very deep purple color, was swollen and was extremely sore. I can now move my toe just fine, the color and size is back to normal but every now and again it feels like it has a burning feeling in it. Could there be some nerve damage to it??

Could be if you continue to have symptoms. Be seen is the sure way to know. Good LuckHow long has it been since the injury? You may just need to give it more time to heal. Don't wait too long though, as you'll want a doctor to see it if it persists.I think it is only a nerve damage but it will heal so just give it a little time!try to massage it with an pain reliever ointment, maybe it helps
