Numb on right side
I'm a 27 year old mom of 2. 2 weeks prior to the delivery of my 9 month old baby, I experienced numbness on the right side of my face. My doctor said I had a mild case of Bells Palsy. I was put on antibiotics and it went away within a week of giving birth. About 7 weeks ago, I came down with the flu and about 4 days later the numbness in my face returned as well as numbness all the way down to my foot on the right side. I have had an MRI of both the brain and neck which both came back normal, as well as a bunch of blood work (all normal), and an EMG (normal as well). I have no weakness or pain, just the slight numbness. I also have lost about 10 lbs in 7 weeks without trying. Any thoughts on what this might be?
