need help.. weakness & pain
If someone could help me please , I have been having shooting pain in hand to my shoulder in my right arm, and a burn type pain on touch. Occasionally I have a very mild version on left side & muscle spasms. I have shooting pain
sometimes in my legs. It seems like I lose a little coordination in my right hand. Also I have been having sudden weakness in legs that works it way up and get light headed, become off balanced. I have also being having
abdominal tenderness on my left side , nausea & horrible indigestion. My feet got wet and I got electruted while welding 3 months ago,
and ever since then I have had the problems above. I also had trebling and weakness in my right arm for about a month after accident. I have had xrays, ultrasound abdominal, EKG's,endoscopy on stomach, blood tests, echocardiogram, holter monitor,Tilt table test, NCV all come back normal. The only thing they have come with is my stomach is emptying slow and I have acid reflux. I have had a MRI on head & EEG done, but haven't got results yet. The only medical conditions I've had before is mitral Value Prolaspe & had a Pectus excavatum. Have any ideas what it could be or any more tests they can do?

hi Amoorebls,
It sure sounds like you have had alot of testing. Have you been seen by a neurologist? By the testing done its appears you have been seen by your primary Dr. or an internist. I'm not the doc but you could have an EMG, esp with the diverse symptoms with nerve and muscle.
Welcome to the forum and good luck to you

yes, I've seen a neurologist and he agreed I have weakness In my right arm, and he ran a NCV it came back ok. I got a copy of my mri, but haven't seen my neurologist to go over it. The report say everything is within normal limits, it does say they found a choroidal cyst in the atrium of the right lateral ventricle. I assume thats ok, but I will have to wait until I see the neurologist.I'm glad you have an appointment with a neurologist. The choroid plexus cyst is likely unrelated to any of your symptoms - but I'd have to see the MRI to say for sure -- your neuro will assess that for you.PurpleLady is right that ENMG in some cases provides useful information when there is motor weakness. Your doctors will determine if you need this test.
Please let us know what your neurologist says.
