neck and shoulder pain for a year

Below is the results of my two MRI's I've had done. I have been taking Lyrica, muscle relaxers and motrin plus using pain patches for a year now and I'm still having neck and arm pain. At times my head is tilted to the right so much that my ear is almost touching my shoulder. I use ice when it gets that bad and that seems to losen me up. I also have tingling in my face and hands on both sides of my body. I have had EMG's done twice now that showed some nerve degeneration. My neuro dr. has been treating me now for a year and it's not getting better. At times the pain does lessen but it does not go away all together. I have gone through PT twice for this and it really didn't help at all. What would you suggest or can you give me any help on what I should do. I would appreciate any help from anyone. Thank you.

At C4-5, there is a disc ridge complex. This narrows the central canal as was noted on the prior study of 12/24/05. There is associated bilateral facet hypertrophy. Overall the degree of stenosis is not significantly changed since the prior study.
At C5-6, a moderate size central disc osteophyte complex is noted. It once again narrows the central canal. There is associated mild bilateral facet hypertrophy. The findings appear to have mildly progressed since the prior study of 12/24/05.
At C6-7, there is a new moderate size left paracentral to lateral disc protrusion. There is"ef£acement" of the ventral subarachnoid space and extrusion of the disc inferiorly behind the C7 vertebral body. There is encroachment of the left proximal neural foramen at this level.
At the C7-T1 level, no significant disc bulge or herniation is seen. There is some evidence of degenerative disc disease within the thoracic spine.

I also have multilevel disc protrusions in my T spine as well as a T9/10 disc herniation

I posted over a week ago and said I posted my two MRI's but I only posted one. I am hoping someone can give me a opinion on what they think I need to dol I am still having for over a year now tingling, burning, pricking feeling in face, arms and hands. I am going to a second opinion and I thought I could get some imput in what I should ask the dr. The only thing my dr. has done is give me one script after another for pills as stated in my other post and it's not helping. I've also done the PT route twice without any major success. Any help I could get would be great. After a 1 1/2 yrs of this I am really starting to get depressed big time. Thank you.

12/05 At C4/5 There is a spondylotic disc bulge. There is bilateral facet hypertrophy and narrowing of the central canal. There is some encroachment of the bilateral neural foramina.
1/07 At C4-5, there is a disc ridge complex. This narrows the central canal as was noted on the prior study of 12/24/05. There is associated bilateral facet hypertrophy. Overall the degree of stenosis is not significantly changed since the prior study.

12/05 At C5/6 there is a central to left paracentral disc osteophyte complex. There is some narrowing of the central canal.

12/05 Unremarkable
1/07 At C6-7, there is a new moderate size left paracentral to lateral disc protrusion. There is"ef£acement" of the ventral subarachnoid space and extrusion of the disc inferiorly behind the C7 vertebral body. There is encroachment of the left proximal neural foramen at this level.
12/05 At C7/T1 there is some mild degenerative disc disease in the thoracic spine.
1/07 At the C7-T1 level, no significant disc bulge or herniation is seen. There is some evidence of degenerative disc disease within the thoracic spine.
12/05 IMPRESSION: There is degenerative disc disease with associated stenosis in the cervical spine. It is most pronounced at the C4/5 and C5/6 level.

1/07 IMPRESSION: There’s progression of findings since the prior study from 12/24/05. In particular there’s a new moderate size left paracentral to lateral disc protrusion at the C6/7 level which effaces the ventral subarachnoid space and abuts the ventral cervical cord. There is mild encroachment of the proximal left neural foramen at this level as well as an extrusion of disc behind the C7 vertebral body.

Has any Dr. said anything to you in a simple term such as "pinched nerve"? My MRI is sort of close to yours. I have 2 bulging disc & arthritis in my neck (& pinched nerve) along with arthritis and degenerative disc through my total spine... I have had 3 epidurals in the lumbar spine also. When I first went to my orthopaedic I was complaining mostly of neck/shoulder and radiating arm pain. I was given an injection into the shoulder with corticosteroids in which by the time I reached my vehicle to leave, the "inner joint" shoulder pain was being relieved.. When the MRI of both the shoulder and neck came back, that is when I found out that I actually had a "double pain". My shoulder (in basic terms) had bursitis and spurring bones but my neck showed 2 bulging discs with a nerve being pinched on that was also causing pain in the shoulder and down my left arm. I go to a chiropractor and that does help keep things loosened up yet for a "quick fix" whn my arm is horribly aching or my fingers are turning white and going numb on both hands (which I am not sure what that is...yet) I take one hand, opposite of the pinched nerve area, hold my head reaching over (and opposite side of hand being used) and stretch it at which time I feel a lot of tightness between the neck and shoulder. Not very comfortable yet it does help. Also, between an inversion table (go to Academy Sports) and a neck traction (from my chiropractor) these things seem to help quite a bit but of course not totally...
I hope this helps you and good luck in ridding at least some of your pain...
