Nausea from touch sensation and/or sound

I am a 31-year-old man. Recently I was grocery shopping and digging through one of those open-topped freezers for a frozen pizza. Suddenly the feeling and/or sound of the boxes scraping on the ice made me nauseated. I felt like I was going to vomit and black out, and I had a little shortness of breath. It took 30 seconds at least for me to feel better.

Since then, whenever I take things out of or move things around in our freezer at home I feel sick (though not as bad as that first time). Even thinking about this makes me feel a little nauseated.

I don't know if it's the scraping sound or the scraping vibration feeling in my hands or both that causes it. I have never had anything like this before (although almost every year or two I have an episode of vertigo or dizziness).

Do you think this is psychological? I try not to let it bother me, but I can hardly move things around in the freezer, and I do the shopping and the cooking for our family!
