My child having some seizures
Hi , My child is 3 years 10 months old from past 15 days he is having some sort of seizures which lasts for less then 5-10 seconds in a day . I have visited the doctor who has asked me to go for certain tests
like CT Scan and Blood Count check,EEG etc.
All these tests came normal but still he was getting seizures, I went on to visit paedeiantric neuro physician who again took EEG and as per him there was some sparks on the right side and it could be volvular epilepsy .. but he was not sure .
Then he asked me to go for MRI which we did and the report's final diagnosis was as follows
"there is a subtle asymmetry of later ventricular temporal horn with right side more prominent and possible subtle atrophy of the right mesial temporal lobe including para hippo campal
gyrus. No signal alteration however is needed"
rest all was normal ..so again went to the doctor he said nothing much to worry you continue with Valprol and then he would see again after couple of weeks .
Meanwhile with this medication and ayurvedivc medication his frequency of seizures and number of seizures in a day which earlier was 4-5 a day for 10 secs has reduced to 2-3 for (2-5) seconds.
I am really confused as doctor whom I am visiting does not looks to be sure but he says nothing to worry..
Is there any advice for me ..Please help me in this
