lower right abdominal pain
I am female, 24 yro, I have no health problems. I keep getting this jolting pain in my lower right abdomen, down against my pelvis. It comes suddenly and lasts for a few seconds. Four times now over the last two months, its seems to come randomly. It doesnt feel like a normal intestinal cramp or gas pain, feels like a jolt of electricity and it really hurts, I'd say 8 on the pain scale. No other symptoms. Is this something to worry about? I'd go to the doctor but its so intermittent. Every time I think its gone away it happens again.
Thanks
Answers:
It could very well be an ovarian cyst. I would demand an ultrasound. otherwise, you could lose your ovary or fallopian tube. Trust me, i know from experience.Yes, get an ultrasound as soon as possible and make sure it's nothing serious. My friend that I go to school with had a similar pain last year and she got it checked out immediately. Thankfully, it wasn't an ovarian cyst.
