Left Hemiparesis (SOS)

My mother on December 30,2007 had an acute onset of hypertension 220/140, she was completely out of sense, reddened face, red eyes, slurred speech, left side of the body not moving. I rushed her to the hospital and they said that clinically she has suffered mild stroke, and after getting a CT scan they said that there was no hemorrhage of any kind, but due to high blood pressure the left side of the body is effected. Now, she cannot move her left side of the body properly. her speech is mildly slurred, she is still not properly in her senses, her joints are freezing by the day, she has lost enormous amount of weight. She is on lipid lowering medicines as well as hypertensive medicines. Her latest labs show her lipid profile is normal, her sugar level is normal, her other complete tests are normal, but yet she is not recovering . . . . .Please help me, i don't know what to do???? I heard about your site and I am trying my luck. I love my mom too much and want her to return to normal life ASAP. Please do answer. Thank you very much for your time and cooperation.
