Help!!!! I might be going crazy.
I am having so much pain in my lower back. It seems to me that the Doc is saying that my bulging disc is not that bad but because I have tried everything from PT, Vax-D, Epidurals (had a bad experience with the 2nd one) to pain pills they are sending me to the neurosurgeon with whom I have been too before. I did not injure my back. I got out of bed 2 weeks ago and have been in agony since. I have had problems with my back for some years now, but this is the worse and I sure am not getting sympathy from any where.
I do have pain going down my left side, down my legs with all the tingling and numbness in the feet. Soemtimes it just takes me to my knees. I can't sit for long periods of time and I can't just stand for even a little while.
I have attached my MRI. Can you tell me if I am just being a big baby?
Can you possible tell me something?
Thanks a bunch,
Lisa

I've experienced the same problem as yourself. I thought it was the low back for some time since I have some minor bulged discs as well. I went to see this surgeon who told me it's not my spine itself, but he thought it was the Sacroiliac Joint which is right next to the spine so many people mistake it for the low back. It's the joint that fuses the hip to the spine. I have had a pain (charlie horse like) that radiates down the left thigh and my foot is numb / tingling and cold almost all the time.
It's a issue most surgeons don't explore because they don't specialize in it. A chiropractor was the one who suggested it to me. Maybe you can at least rule that out. It is simple; they just do a 3 step injection of an anesthetic on an outpatient basis of 2 being anesthetic and one being a placebo. If you know which one is the placebo - you've been diagnosed. Hope this helps you out a little bit.
Thank you so much. I thought I would not get any answers on this. So thank you for that advice!Lisakeep me updated as i'm concerned for your situationThank you.....You are very kind. I do have an appointment with the neurologist on the 24th. It has eased up some. Right now that is good since I do have to work. I will let you know what happens.
