Hand Pain
B"H
Dear Dr. Joshua,
I've noticed a week or two ago, a tender pain in my left hand on the bottom part just under my pinky when I press it. It feels like a little internal bump, and I wonder if it could be something embedded within, though I don't recall injuring it. There is a slight "dry" patch there though.

From your short description it sounds like it could be a ganglion cyst. This is a fluid collection related to the joint, and usually disappears with time, sometimes it is excised or aspirated to ease the pain. Of course- without examining you I cannot say this for sure, so you must see your doctor to have it diagnosed in order to exclude more serious causes.
