Gall Bladder Woes

I have been having pain and pressure in my RUQ just under my ribs and shoulder blade and frequent nausea and vomiting for the last 6 months. 2 months ago, I was told I have gall bladder disease, but no gall stones. I was given pain meds and phenergan for the n/v and pretty much told to "suck it up". Since then, the pain is a daily companion, the n/v at best every other week. Tonight vomiting and severe pain warranted yet another visit to the local ER. Same story. They say bad but not bad enough. Several doctors have said that a thickened gall bladder that causes pain is good cause for removal, yet the best I can get is time will tell. I have been told to make an appt. with another surgeon this week to see what he thinks, but I am afraid that I am being told to deal with it for lack of insurance. At what point does the pain, N/V and increasing thickening of the wall warrant surgery? What other reasons might there be for putting this off when I am in so much constant pain? I really cannot stand the pain, but the constant pain pills and anti n/v meds are just as bad!
