Female with Chronic Chest Pain
I've done all I can to figure out why in the world the right side of my left brest, above the sternum has swolen and enlarged slowly over the past year and half. I only noticed this however because of the pain the occurs in the area. The area itself feels like bone which is why I worried.
When I finally felt it was becoming a serious issue, no doctors took me seriously except to suggest an x-ray... when nothing came of it, an ultrasound. No conclusions were made, except to say that "You are a growing woman." This was a professional orthopedic physician. They told me everything was normal, and of course I have to believe it. And wished only that I asked a million more questions since I am still paying for what my insurance wouldn't cover... anyways....
Now I need to know why I'm still in alot of pain, because every time I displayed this reaction to doctors, they seemed to only respond with that it may be just a figment of my imagination... I hope this is only Myrtle Beach physicians... because I don't now what else to do.
And I've looked up everything from hernia to the angina pectoris and nothing seems at all similar to what I am experiencing. Are there any other suggestions... or is there a type of hernia that occurs in the area of the chest.
