Eye damage?

Recently I saw a neuro-opthlamolgist. An area of the rt side was damaged worse than the left eye's damage after the status. Another Epi. had said that eye's will not be damaged because of a status. I continue to have the "aura" type activity in the rt eye. The neuro-op said aside from the changed eye vision my eye's are fine. The last eye vision had been 3 yrs prior.
So if in fact status will not damage the eye, what did damage it during the status or is that aura activity causing the vision test making my vision appear to be damaged since occipital seizures will cause vision problems? The op. wanted a copy of the last MRI, but since I can't have one he was gonna see the CT scan. Nothing was seen to alarm him.
So, can a status damage the eye's or not?
I'm aware that either cavernous hemangiomas, or venous angiomas will not show on CT scans nor small anni's but can return unlike AVM's all of which I had removed. So there's numorous possibities,or it may just be my bad luck!
