Dr. Joshua, PLEASE help

I saw the nurse practitioner yesterday. This is what she said.
Cervical neck pain; Radioculpathy; Muscle tension H/A; Trapezius muscle spasms; Eustachian Tube dysfunction. She prescribed muscle relaxant; Ibuprofene 800 mg; nasal spray; Physical Therapy
My face like the whole cheek feels hot numb tingly also my lips chin area. It feels like it is burning even asked my mom to touch she said both sides feel the same. The nurse practitioner said it may be caused by the nerves being pushed.
I hope that is all it is and nothing more serious with circulation, tumors, aneurysms or other bad things... From the bottom of my heart wishing everyone healthy long life.
My symptoms were: head pressure, sides of head above ears around ears, on top of head, back of head, pressure was so severe though. also back of my head sometime felt like it was an open sore burning.
my ears plugged as well. sometime only left cheek the whole left side of face feeling like it was burning (feeling extremely hot) tingles and numbness as well tu my lips, chin, then sometime the right side of my head feeling numb heavy and ear plugging up, sometime both ears plugged up. also had numbness on my toes feet. when i get up in the morning i have no problem as soon as i sit or get up i start to get my ears plugged and my head starts to get the pressure. as soon as i lay down my symptoms go away. i'm still worried but let's see... :(
thank you again everyone and maybe my symptoms and my prelimenary diagnosis by the nurse practitioner may help others...

Reminder bumpHi Megan, thanks for your question. From your description alone it's not possible to make diagnosis or treatment suggestions over the internet. Were the medicines prescribed by the nurse practitioner helpful? Could you talk to her again, and talk about being seen by the doctor. If these symptoms continue, you should see the doctor, because a thorough history and a physical examination, and sometimes further examinations are needed before a diagnosis can be made.Dr. Joshua, thank you very much for your response. The medications have helped, however, still if I stay up too long like last night we had guests to the house and I cooked for sometime and then I started to get weird sensations in my head again. Sometime it feels like not current but maybe similar to current type like a burning type small fireworks type things happen. I lay down for sometime they diminish. I just got up now after sleeping all night and I have nothing again except my neck cracks with movements. I also noticed the plugged ears come with the neck issues. My question is can people get these type of symptoms from neck? I've had problems of numbness tingles in my hand arms after a car accident 2 years ago. I had physical therapy for about 6, 7 months. Those symptoms most of it went away but sometime I would have problems even doing the given exercises by the therapish because it would feel like with each movement my neck is repositioning itself. I was then told nothing else can be done but it'll just take time. I would need to see an orthopedic. I went to orthopedic he said I have nothing to look at, ordered MRI of my neck. MRI people gave me an appointment on Wednesday for the next day. I went the next day and they asked me to sign forms and as I was signing them I asked them I have no health insurance this is going to be covered by no fault right. They said yes just sign it. Something inside me kept asking them again and a girl came out from inside and said the insurance closed the case because there was no activity. I said I went to the ortho a week and a half ago. Anyway, since then a lawyer is trying to re-open the case. My symptoms later went to my mid back - to the shoulder blade level. I saaw ortho again and he ordered MRI of neck plus my back second time. My neck area would get so much pressue that I couldn't take it and the only way i would get relieve from it was if I move my head in different positions and little cracks would take place. I always have to open my mouth sometime to get it to work too. When I go for shower and I lift my feet to get into the tub I'd feel it in my neck. Sometime it'd feel like it goes out of its socket and goes back in type and this would sometime go to the shoulder blade level like someone is taking two bones and rubbing it and having it get into its socket. Sometime when this would happen too much, it'd feel like in my neck area bottom of my skull would feel like all my muscles are being torn it's a very awkward feeling. If I carry something I'd feel it in my neck my chiro had told me not to even carry a water bottle when I'm walking. I could open bottles so well and I can't anymore because I feel it in my neck right away. I can't read book looking down even a little bit beause if I do even for a very short time, I lift my head and it cracks but with a feeling like it is ripping something there it's very weird feeling. I used to get pains that would start in the bottom of my head and would shoot to my eye and would get pain where it would be between side of my neck and front of my throat where it's be like going upward toward ear. This symptom was really bad the night of the accident. That's when it started. At the time of the accident all I had was about less than half an hour later, my palm felt like it was burning but it was cold outside snowing, so I was confused but later that night I felt like I was beaten up and the scariest thing was this shooting pain in my throat neck area. The car backed up into our car (smashed my passenger side door, front side area of car as well). The pressure in ears and head seems to get some relief if I open my mouth wide open or tilt my head sideways temporarily relief takes place but not for long. I also noticed when I would get the pressure in head or ears, if I lift my chin up just a little bit and relax my head on the back of the sofa, it'd give me some relief. It almost feels like my neck doesn't want to carry my head. :( please give some input. Thank you very much. I will take your advice, but I'm just worried too.A complex history of symptoms- in a case like yours one of the most important things is to have a good relationship with a doctor you feel you can trust. The necessary investigations need to be done, and if those reveal nothing out of the ordinary, then the focus must be on restoring normal life. This is often done with the help of physical therapy and medication, as in your case. There is probably no magic trick that would make the symptoms go away, but it is rather a process of coping.

Especially the first paragraph may be relevant a case such as yours, although I emphasize that even though you have provided a good description of your history here, it's still not enough information for me to make any diagnosis or treatment suggestions for you. A complete review of your history with the MRI pictures and patient records, as well as a physical examination is needed, as always.Dr. Joshua, thank you very much for the pointer as well as the response. I appreciate it very much. My real concerns are of other things that may be happening such as tumors etc. :((( From what I have read over the internet cervical problems don't seem to deal with head face etc. That is also what is worrying me a lot. At the same time I seem to get some relief that when I lay down or my head neck is rested I seem to do so much better and in fact nothing wrong when I get up in the morning. My doctor is a good doctor however, he is not the type that will send for MRIs etc . He usually does the neurological tests and will say nothing wrong neurologically. He is an internalist. Thank you very much. Best Regards.
