Dizziyness and dubble vision! whats causing this?
it seems like i have duble vision. but im not sure i cant tell if its duble vision or just a haloing effect. but its weird. its worse when im looking at reflective stuff, like signs at night on the road. also white on black or black on white(words on papper or letters on a key board) also lights! any light i look at seems to have a BIG halo around it or something. its really hard to explane but dr. if you could help me understand why it is that i dont have dubble vision when looking at solid objects. and only at lights, reflective things and white one black and so on. can you help?
I have seen my optometrst and we have been seeing if my contacts are the problem but so far no matter what perscription i get for my contacts its the same. and i cant tell without my contacts because i have astigmatisum and cant see a thing! LOL so i dont know if i have duble vison without contacts. but anytime its dark on light or the reverse it looks dubble!
Can you help or tell me what is causing this weird problem?

Double vision should be examined by an ophthalmologist. If this keeps bothering you, please make an appointment.
It's not entirely uncommon to have slight double vision when looking at bright objects in dimly lit surroundings, or any object that is in strong contrast with its surroundings, especially if you are tired, let alone under the influence of alcohol or sleeping pills and so on.
What you describe does not sound like a neurological double vision situation, the haloing effect is not something that I can guess at immediately, although I think it can be seen in glaucoma and cataract. Best advice I can give is talk to an ophthalmologist.
