CT results
???Hey everyone. I'm new to this. My daughter is 5 years old and was diagnosed with epilepsy at 6 months old. We recently had another CT done and I don't understand what it is saying. Could you please help. It state: "The contour of the head is such that up near the superior portion of the head, the diameter is wider transversely than it is in the AP dimensions. This has never been reported before. Please help.
Answers:
Hi, thanks for your question. While I cannot comment on the significance of the CT report as I am not familiar with your child's case, I might suggest that you talk to your child's doctor about the possibility of craniosynostosis or related syndromes.
