Causes of EEG slowing
Hi, I wrote before about my Postural Orthastatic Tachycardia syndrome and other symptoms and recieved no reply. This time I was curious about my past EEGs. I was in the VEEG unit and I had an episode where I was unable to talk. The doctors said that there was no epileptic activity and didn't know what caused it. The only thing that was happening was slowing. I asked them what that meant and they said they didn't know. I was told that they think most of my seizure activity was due to low blood flow and low blood pressure. I was just wandering what else could cause slowing on an EEG. I also have had several episodes of slowing in my sleep.
