carbon monoxide dropping dilantin levels?
My seizures have been controlled with dilantin for nearly 4 years without a problem. In the last few months, dilantin levels have been dropping, despite my dosage being increased.
I have recently become aware that there are low levels of carbon monoxide escaping from my furnace (20-25 ppm -- not enough to trigger the alarm). Could this be the cause of my dilantin levels dropping?
Answers:
My dilantin levels have dropped again, despite another increase in dosage. My doctor already feels that I am on a high dosage for my size. What else could be causing my levels to drop? (I don't drink any alcohol at all)
