Bump on thumb, causing extreme pain
Found that there is a blue swollen bump on the bottom of my thumb. Whenever I move it, pain shoots up my arm. Someone says it looks like a cyst. Is there any treatment that I can try without going into the doctor?

It could be a cyst but it would be best to see your doctor especially if it's painful.I agree its a cyst or growth of sorts. My sister had this blue growth on one of her finger a few years back. It was removed and no further problems. Good LuckI suggest that you should go to the doctor. As they've said, prevention is better than cure.My older sister's best friend had this same problem too. She is very quick to go to the doctor for any problem, so she went immediately and they removed it a few weeks later. She has had no other issues relating to that problem since then, which was about two and a half years ago.
