Hello Dr
My father was recently complaining that he was feeling guidy . So with doctor's advice he had a MRI scan done. The doctor said everything was normal. The report reads as
Chronic Lacuna is see in white matter of left frontal lobe. It shows T2 prolongation
MRA shows mild irregularity in outline of visualized intra cranial vessels.
Impression : Diffuse bilateral fronto-parietal atrophy
No evidence of significant stenosis of
intra cranial vessels.
We dont really understand these medical terms. And the doctor said it was normal and not to worry. However I still need to know what does the above statements mean.
Since my dad is 70 years and he is a diabetic patient. And he also suffers from Heart ailments.
I just want to know what those impression means ? And is there anything that we need to ahve a closer look. He still complains that when he looks up and then looks down...he can feel slight gudiness .
