Brain Shaking

I have a 7 year old son who has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. He currently complains that his brain is shaking. This is new since December. This seems to occur in spirts having them daily for weeks then none for a month or more. Sometimes the shaking is constant and sometimes he describes it as going "zoot, zoot, zoot", stopping and starting again. They last from minutes to all day and come with or without head pain. He has had 2 MRI's (one at 2 years old and one at 4 years old) for diagnosis of his other 2 problems. He had a negative EEG when these new problems arose. I was told to give him Motrin or Imitrex IN but neither seem to have much affect. His neurologist doesn't feel he needs another MRI because he's pretty sure they are migraines. Should I change neurologist for someone that will do a more thorough work up? Are there any suggestions to help him when he is going thru this? Any ideas on what else it could be? He is totally exhausted even after a short episode and it really cuts into his school work, not to mention his "being a boy" time.
