Blood in Bowels & Urinary Tract Bleeding after Colonoscopy
I had a colonoscopy done Tuesday because I had blood mixed in my bowels. They could not determine the cause of that. The day it happened, I could not eat anything without it coming out of me minutes later. Could the rapid transit cause the blood to be red if you was bleeding from your stomach or esophagus, as I definetly have problems there, and maybe a few weeks to a month before that, I did have black stools for like 3 days. I also think I may have a mild prolapse because it feels like something is coming out of me a little bit during bowel movements, and if I have more than one, they can become painful and cause burning. I have been having a really tough time with constipation issues and don't know why. I do not have any hemmoriods. Does that sound like a prolapse? I've had a cystocele repair on my bladder before too and it's giving me alot of problems again. I just feel like maybe there's a prolapse with them or maybe one organ is pressing down on the other. I had a hysterectomy (uterus/cervix removed) a yr ago but when I started doing the laxative prep Monday, I started bleeding from my urinary tract, I guess. The blood is very obvious on the toilet paper. The doctor said if it went away that day it would be nothing to worry about, as it was probley just an irritation to a hemmoriod vein. But if it persisted, then something else was probley causing it. Well it's persisted. What else could this laxative prep had done to my urinary tract to cause this? I don't exactly have a urologist now because his one time treatment in his office made my bladder (cystitis) problems worse, so he didn't bother to call back for follow up treatment even though the nurse said they would. I'm not sure what to do but I am not going to go back to that doctor if that's the way he wants to do me.
