Alcohol Consumtion & P/D
My friend has relatively advanced stages of P/D. He's an older man (81). Currently he is on the Levi/Carba therapy. He has better days than not....but likes to drink. What precautions should he take?...Or should he be drinking at all!? Thx, GL

Since the symptoms are usually treated of this disease, alcohol may interfere with medications that have been prescribed for these symptoms, (shaking, gait distrubances even dementia). Best to ask his Dr. and you can search his drugs via the search tool.
