4 to 6 hour nero-psych test???
My Sister who has POA(power of attorney medical and trust) put my Mother, 72 years old in a locked facility. Memory impaired home. Now my mother just recently lost my Dad after a long illness. She has the passed the MIME test with a score oF 29 and her ombudsman and ageing advococy are claiming she is fine(I AM ALSO ON HER SIDE!) The court has ordered a neutral doctor to perform a test. Why is this test so long!! 4 to 6 hours??? Can anyone sit that long let alone someone who is elderly??What nero-psych test is that long?

Hello, and thanks for your question. It sounds like there are serious legal issues here, perhaps that's why a very thorough assessment is needed. I'm not familiar with the details of such proceedings, maybe there are forum members here with more information on this? I also recommend that you voice your concerns and ask for more information from the person who will be performing the test.
